EPA advises Duck River contaminated: fish, mercury advisory
NASHVILLE — A fifteen-mile stretch of the Duck River in Humphreys and Hickman counties was included on a list of fish consumption advisories by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.

Fishermen find missing man’s body in Duck River
The body of the man who swam into the Duck River April 22 was found by fishermen Saturday floating in the water.
The man was identified as Billy Ray Brooks, the same person authorities received a missing person’s report for on April 24, according to Columbia Deputy Fire Chief Steve Cross.
