Shooting suspect ordered to prison
COLUMBIA - A Columbia man suspected in the shooting deaths of two people will attend a trial from a prison cell two weeks after his 21st birthday, a judge decided Thursday.
Robert Guerrero, 20, charged with first-degree murder with his brother, Eric Guerrero, 19, Javoris Sparkman, 22, and Charles Everit Lowe Kelley, 16, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and felony murder in connection with the shooting of Juan Castro, 16, and Patricia Garcia, 24, and the attempted first-degree murder of Jose Castro, 23, and Sara Garcia, 18, on Nashville Highway at Baker Road April 13.
