County gets grant for development plan study
USDA Rural Development Area Director Faye Rodgers and County Mayor Jim Bailey Monday announced a $30,000 federal investment to fund a comprehensive business and infrastructure development plan for Maury County.
“Small business is the backbone of rural communities,” Rodgers said. “To prosper, communities and businesses need infrastructure like good roads, clean water and high speed Internet access; they need skilled workers, educational resources and quality health care.”
