James Carmon Walker

LINDEN — James Carmon Walker, 67, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville.

Services were held Friday in the chapel of Young Funeral Home with Brian Powell officiating.

Burial followed in Walker Cemetery in Clifton.

He was a son of the late Bernice Walker and Edna Gladys Thompson Walker and was retired from the State Garage in Lewis County. He was also preceded in death by brother Willard Walker.

Survivors include sons Michael Walker of Linden and Rodney Walker of Columbia, daughters Edna Skelton of Linden and Anita Jones of Culleoka, brother Charles Walker of Waynesboro, sisters Billie Ruth Thompson, Edith Burns, Mary Nevil McClain and Bettie Jo Carrington, all of Waynesboro, and five grandchildren.
