Local Students Participate in Destination Imagination Finals

Special to The Advertiser News Seven determined Chapman’s Retreat Elementary School students began a journey in early October 2008 to solve one of the most difficult Destination Imagination challenges ever written. They earned the honor to represent the city of Spring Hill at the DI Global finals tournament at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville this week.

Madi Copeland Indy Nation - 2009 Students, teachers, and faculty, alike have all done it again. May 21, 2009 officially marks the last day of school for students. At Indy, it’s a slim chance that you’ll actually find someone who isn’t looking forward to the end of the year with growing restlessness. With the end in sight, it’s hard for anyone to not get caught up in the conclusion of another year of Independence. With such a memorable year, students and faculty will leave this year behind with memories to last a lifetime.
